Dinner last night in Philadelphia was an interesting event. A woman from work and I ventured into the Friday evening traffic to pick up a client and visit a restaurant that's gotten a lot of good press. I think she was a bit unnerved by listening to my frequent suggestions to other drivers. The restaurant was beautiful and the menu was diverse. It was entirely composed of tiny courses that you could order in any quantity and any order. The three courses I had - two fish and wild boar - were interesting, but not ones I would want to repeat. The dessert souffle was tasty and densely chocolate, but I restrained myself and only ate half of it. I would probably not return, although it was an unusual place to try.

Today I ran errands and looked for new carpet for the family room. I brought home several samples and am hoping that the cats don't decide to pee on them overnight. This afternoon I had a massage, and the 30 minutes was over in an instant - I could have easily have sat there for another 30.

Movies: Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill. Made me smile but not laugh. Being There - perhaps a classic, but dreadfully, painfully dull and slow.
