new issue progress & reading recommendation

HeavyGlow

Well, things are moving right along I'm happy to say. I've read and sent out notifications for everything submitted thus far and still have two or three slots available. If I fill the issue before April 15th, I'll begin reading for the fall issue but will post announcements here and on the site itself.

There was one fellow that I haven't been able to reach so if there's someone out there who has submitted and not received a response, please contact me at the email address listed here.

Speaking of the site, I went ahead and made a new one which I'll be uploading soon. It's not exactly the vision I had in mind because time constraints got the best of me since I've been doing some freelance work. But, it'll do I suppose. I went back to plain, simple old html and xhtml but I did create a php enter page so as to (hopefully) preserve everyone's bookmarks. If you visit the site after I upload and it seems to have disappeared, check here because I'll post an entry about it. Also, I do still plan to work on that vision I mentioned earlier in case you spot some odd things happening.

Here's a reading recommendation for you all. Paul G. Bens Jr., who has been featured a few times in HeavyGlow has written a masterfully erotic gay novella titled, Mahape a ale Wala'au that's available in e-book format here. It's a sweet/hot story (overflowing with slashy goodness) set in the beautifully lush surroundings of Hawai'i. I quite recommend the read!

Okay, that's about it. Looks to be a real eclectic and interesting issue coming up, by the way. I'm sure everyone will love it:)
