The thought is, okay, it's in the form of a question, which is

When will our flannel sheets stop fuzzing up the lint filter in the dryer? If they do stop fuzzing up the lint filter, will there, in fact, be anything left of the flannel sheets?

HOW is it possible for that much fuzz to come off these sheets which still have plenty of nap and are still very warm and fuzzy and flannel? Where does it COME from?

And now the thank you. Thank you to all you writers - and that's everyone i know and consider a friend - all of whom have websites and who do not kick off your website with a sales pitch.

I'm in the process of running through every weblink on Mysterious Home Page as i do a few times a year. We don't always catch mistakes, and few authors remember to let us know when they've changed web designers or hosts or whatever so a few times a year (usually somewhat after LCC and Bcon when I have convention programs handy) I click, go, look at the 404 error message, google, and on and on.

And I'm only through the first four letters of the alphabet and just hit the one website which bugs the BEJEEZUS out of me because the FIRST THING YOU SEE is "buy something"!

Said author is very popular, but I think this is just so TACKY. Sell stuff AFTER you've talked about your new book and your book tour and whatever else.

Don't stick it UP THERE (especially with when you need to get orders by in order to ship in time for christmas).

I know this is a business, damn it. I know you writers have to sell books, don't think I don't. But this is just a little TOO commercial for my taste, to go to someone's website, which is primarily intended as a source of information and to get a sales pitch for "hats, keytags and signed editions".

Eu. Thank you for not doing that.

And to all a good night.
