in the last several days, I've gotten bills for two magazines I never subscribed to (one allegedly because I visited a website, but of course, there's no indication which site and i doubt very much that I did visit anything connected with "Elle" magazine) and today i got a magazine I did not sign up to receive. The other day i also got information from a website where i had not requested information - sent to this address and addressed with misspelled first AND last names.

Someone (who cannot spell my name, btw as most of the shit has my name spelled wrong - sort of a teensy clue that I did not request this crap) apparently thinks this is funny and has it in for me. Me? I'm hugely stressed out as my mother's in the hospital - originally thinking she'd had a heart attack and now perhaps it was a clot in her (not very healthy) lungs. Meanwhile, someone is apparently expressing his/her dislike of me by harassing me, making me feel used, wasting my time and making fuck-all sure I don't want to go to the mailbox for the next few weeks. Charming. How bold and amusing.

I'm seriously thinking that the dust bunnies' invitation is looking better and better. I'll miss some Olympics while I'm under the bed, but.....SIGH....it's pretty damn dull anyway. i've been a fan of and watcher of gymnastics for decades and the latest bunch of rules make both the uneven bars (round and round and round and round) and the floor exercise (run run, jump, run, flip. Stop. run, flip, flip, jump, jump. Stop. step. Repeat) the most BORiNG damn routines in ages. The floor routines have no interesting music to DANCE to and nothing remotely showing personality or even a dance step. No work ON the mat, just boingy boingy boingy. The uneven bar stuff - well why bother having a low bar anyway?

Crap, even the balance beam routines aren't using the beam. only a few short years ago, the gymnast would actually use the thing, incorporate the bar into her routine - hip circles, the occasional move somehow using the apparatus, and now? it's like a floor exercise only on a 4 inch bar.

I should learn to draft and not post directly here - typos galore (and no, she was not the lesser known sister of the character in "Goldfinger".
