Scuze me, folks, but time for a bulletin...

Harley, sweetie, if by some amazing chance you read my blog, PLEASE email me. I've been emailing you since those fires in LA. Have asked a couple folks if they've heard and it's been well over a week and nothing's working, so if you're out there with a working email, please lemme know?

And now back to our blog already ...ok, it's not exactly. I'm trying to a) write a reveiw of a book that i shoulda written up weeks ago b) ignore the world so i can read the ARC of THE SHANGHAI MOON, SJ's upcoming Lydia/Bill book (oy YAY) and get to the bank, pharmacy and grocery today because it's nice out but more because tomorrow morning, very early, my friend Ray and I are headed out to "Skate America", where i'll be spending most of my time from then through Sunday. Ray's never been to a competition, and I've been to Nationals but never SA. Oh boy oh BOY. So bank for bus money (since taking the cab, my first idea, is prohibitively expensive at about $60 PER TRIP, and I really need to do this with the wheelchair if I'm going to be out and about for hours.) and snacks and last minute errands that I may/may not be able to do whilst running up to the arena (shoulda gotten a motel room, oh how dumb) to watch this event. oh YAY!
