Most of us are dealing with bad weather, horrid weather, really really awful weather.

If you've been able to get out in this wretched weather, think of me. The last time I was able to get out of the house past the gate (our mailbox is right inside the gate) it was Friday, December 12, when I went out for a while to do some volunteer work and run an errand or two. Late that day, it started snowing. While one day last week it was not snowing, every single forecast said it would begin any second and I was not willing to run the risk of going out only to have it start snowing and make my trip home that risky. So I've now been housebound for 10 days. And counting.

The only people i believe I've seen in 10 days are my friend Jane who came by with some pills for me last week and stayed for a chat and some hot cider, and Stu. And I caught a glimpse of the mail carrier (not the UPS person who left a package at the GARAGE DOOR recently) (yes, the detached garage. That door.)

So even if it sucks where you are, and it's hard to get around, if you've managed to get out, do think of me.Ii cannot get out and don't know when it will be before I do. the snow here's piled up probably somewhere between 4 and 5 inches with no end or warm temperatures in sight. We have tickets to "Says You!" on New Year's Day.

Boy this really and truly sucks very very much.
