I wish I understood this feeling but Worldcon feels like it happened forever ago. My sense of time is really odd, really confusing. It's not that I forgot that I went. I remember a lot quite clearly But really, it took place three weeks ago and it's so far back for me. Weird.

It occured to me right after my last post that there was some very Important Name-dropping to be done. I must thank the people who appeared on program with me. I could not have gotten through Sasquan without you, and I hope that the program items were memorable. Both were, yes, way too short, but that's the risk of major big deal conventions. In order to fit everything and everyone in, you have to go with shorter than ideal program blocks.

So first to my terrific friends Joe Siclari, Ginjer Buchanan, Linda Deneroff and Teresa Nielsen Hayden, thank you. Each of you made remembering sweet and joyful. I so appreciate the memories and stories you shared. I mean it. A special shout out to the wonderful John Sapienza Jr. I did not know he was taking pictures and he shared them with me on Facebook. People like the photos, commenting on how I look. It is very deceptive but yes, it brought love and joy back to me for a while there.

To my old friend Pat MacEwan (it's been something like 20 years I think), to Bill Thomasson and Beth Gilligan for putting up with my less than stellar moderating. I loved hearing what you had to say and the audience kicked in some great stuff. We need to do that again, for a much longer time.

Ook.
