Goth House

The comics on the Goth House web-site are well worth checking out. Most of them aren't exactly going for either funny or serious, but for a zone somewhere in between that (at least for people with certain background/interests/sensibilities about this kind of thing) manages to be pretty entertaining. Owen's Nightmare is probably a good sample of the funnier end of what's on there, and (on the non-funny end) there's a (very short, dialogue-less) Vampire Story that's sort of beautiful in its simplicity and actually conveys pretty good atmosphere.

(For the sake of full disclosure, I should say that I went to Clarion this summer with the writer/artist Julie McGalliard, as well as spending a lot of time at parties hanging out with her husband Paul. That's how I heard about the comic and thought to check it out, but personal friendship aside, I really do enjoy it.)

Anyway, I've been having enough fun checking it out in odd moments over the summer I thought it was worth mentioning here.
