Honorably Mentioned Zombies

Tina C. e-mailed me the other day and let me know that random-alex over at Not If You Were The Last Short Story On Earth included my story Three Perspectives on the Role of the Anarchists in the Zombie Apocalypse" in their list of best short stories from 2007. Didn't make the list of three "absolute favorites," but it did get an honorable mention, along with third-rate hacks like Nancy Kress, Charles Stross, Carrie Vaughn and Lucius Shepherd.

They'd also said nice things about the story back in August:

"As an historian, I loved this story because the focus wasn't on the zombies themselves - in fact, it completely takes a back seat. The whole point of this story is different ways of looking at the same events, and the fact that they can come across completely differently depending on time, perspective, bias... it's really cleverly written."
