Wow, it's all done. I didn't expect the last day to be so hard.. A bunch of the kids wrote me really touching letters, and then some of them started crying! I nearly cried myself, and gave myself a huge headache keeping all inside.

Saturday was spent working, so I kept things in the back of my mind. But Sunday is wide open, and I'm having trouble finding my bearing here.

I finished the John Wilkes Booth biography, American Brutus. Definitely evokes the era that I write about -- I'm sure a few details will end up in the book I'm editing now.
