Mood: Dazed and confused... the usual. Read/Post Comments (0) |
2005-03-03 7:43 PM Where have I been? Okay, I am officially slacking off with this journal thing. It’s been 3 months since I’ve made an entry. Let’s see, what have I done since then worth noting…
I’ve officially found a level at which to call a gamer lazy. I can’t get some of my people to trek up to visit my place even for free books. Sheesh. I’ve been working 8 - 8 shifts every weekday since the start of February, and will be doing so for a while to come yet. I’ll be working some Saturday hours this week too. It’s not quite an excuse for not posting, but it’ll have to do for now. The overtime pay will be sweet, if I ever find time to spend it. I celebrated the 7th anniversary of connecting my wife, Eva Rose, on February 15th. She hasn’t tried to kill me yet, and I’m not feeling any itches, so I guess we must be doing okay. (If you didn’t catch the understatement, refer back to my November entries, see what I wrote for her birthday.) We’re refurnishing the apartment, haunting IKEA on the weekends - got our son a twin-size bed, and we’re adding storage capacity any which way we can do it. Yes, as a matter of fact, we ARE a George Carlin routine… We’re also slowly (I mean, glacier-speed slowly) starting to plan for our son’s 2nd birthday later this month. He’s a good 3-feet tall now, somewhere around the 35 pound mark, still feels he can get anything he wants via either brute force or a high-pitched shriek capable of making dogs in the next building howl. He’s usually right, mind you… That’s about it, really. Work, more work, family time, and more work. No, wait, I gave up something… what was it… sl… slee… oh, forget it – pass the Mountain Dew, wouldja? Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
