Good morning.. its wednesday and i am actually really awake... that says a lot for 0600. Got an interesting phone call from a female friend last night... it was approx 9pm and she wanted to go to a movie..... painless right? wrong... i have to wake up every day at 0330, and this one wants to see a movie that starts at 10pm. Movies naturally run approx 2 hours and wind up sucking anyway...soooo natuarlly i had to decline. On the good side, this weekend one of my favorite bands is playing in Bay Ridge the same night (Saturday) as the neighborhoods first pub crawl of the season..... soooooo that should provide a good enough pre-game before going to see them... not counting the yankees have a 1pm game as well.

Moving on to other things.. i got pulled over this morning on my way to work... now this isn't your average everyday traffic stop. I though i was ok but the cop got behind me anyway... sooo i pull over and this dick comes to my window. (What happens next was right out of a movie) "License and registration" he says. I give it to him " Do you know how fast you were going son" he says... and naturally I reply 65??? (yup in a question form) He looks me dead in the eye and says 63. So I ask isn't the speed limit 65, and he replies "Yeah ... it is" and walks away. Turns out the kid was a rookie and the senior officer, who stayed in the car was my friend Brendan... who, in case you couldn't figure this out, is a huge prankster and a very huge fan of Super Troopers. Yup... He got me. But I will get him back.
