OK so I have been working for Sikorsky Aircraft for about 3 months now, and up until now i have been a contractor... pretty much an employee of a contracting agency working on site with Sikorsky. Well on Friday I was informed that United Technologies (Sikorsky's Parent Company) is going to buy out my contract and make me a permanent employee of Sikorsky. The position I will be taking is Lead Analyst for the design and development of the new heavy lift helicopter for the Marine Corps. With this comes ssome very nice benefits, higher salary, free college, free A&P license, FAA Certification and FCC Certification. Now you have to understand... I have been a helicopter fanatic for the majority of my life... This is the biggest thing to happen to me in a very long time. I absolutely love the fact that I have made such an impression in such a short time. I am finally reaping the benefits of busting my ass for so long. I am going to have a glass of scotch.
