So it has been a while since I entered something in this, so here goes.

My life has been all but relaxed relaxed recently. I bought a condo in CT and my checking account is depleting faster than I could imagine. It seems when you buy a house you have to pay everyone else just for breathing. there is seriously a fee for EVERYTHING. I think i got the worst of it out of the way... now I just have to make it to closing. In other news, a few months ago I started talking to my ex-girlfriend. not the psycho I almost married, the one I was dating when 9/11 happened. We never really broke up... well we did but not in the traditional sense. There was never a "Hey go fuck yourself, I can't stand you!!!" It was more along the lines of "John I love you but I can't handle you being in Iraq and I don't know what to do." This is perfectly understandable... you know what they say, the hardest job in the military is being the girlfriend or wife. Well, to get back to it, she moved upstate and finished college, I went to the desert and shot a bunch of people, and now we are both back in Brooklyn. (weird how the world works huh) Well it seemed as if we were going well until she posted something in her blog online.... it seems her ex fiance slept with her best friend. If this was anyone else I would be hysterical laughing, but then I started to realize something... in her rant online she mentioned they were "trying to make it work" and he fucked up.... uuuummm what the hell was she doing with me then???? Sooo that is a done deal, and I am moving to CT. I can't wait to get the fuck out of brooklyn... it has changed so much for the worse I can't begin to explain it.

In other news, my promotion went through, so I am off and running in the company I intend to retire from in about 90 years. Also, we went out last week and took my baby sister, Donna, out for her 21 birthday... God I am old.
