Today marks the 5 year anniversary of some dumb shit fundamentalists trying to kill me. I spent the majority of the weekend at memorial services for friends who I will never have another drink with because of some kind of bull shit religious agenda. If you couldn't tell I am not in the best of moods today. My plans are to bury myself in design material for the duration of the work day and try not to think about it. I do, however, like what CNN is doing. I know everyone is going to be all up in arms about them replaying minute for minute footage of the 9/11 attacks on NY and D.C but I think they should play it everyday. People have quickly forgotten why we are invloved in this war. In the matter of 20 minutes 3000 Americans were killed. These Americans were not of a uniformed and organized military force that posed any kind of threat to these warped bastards but they were mothers, fathers, sons and daughters. I swear if I didn't get hurt I would still be over there fighting, and today, more than ever, do I want to be back over there. I know that the Muslim religion is a very peaceful religion and teaches a lot of admirable ways of living... Well I am not Muslim and I,in no way, feel like being peaceful today. What is worse is all of the people living in America who are strong enough to criticize the American Soldiers but are too weak to pick up a rifle and look their enemy in the eye. Remember the people you can't see today. The ones over there dodging RPG's and small arms fire so people on the homefront can legally run their mouths about them. I hope they all come home soon and safely, but for the time being.... KEEP KICKIN ASS BOYS!!!
