This weekend was an interesting one to say the least. I wound up going out to New Haven (still exploring the new area) and had a great time at this place called the Playwrite. from what I understand this bar used to be a bank, but when they made it a bar, they brought over all of the internal furnishings of a church in Ireland that closed down. The inside looks really amazing. Anyway I met a good number pf people and watched the first game of the world series, danced in the club section in the back and had a few drinks. later in the evening I got into a pretty heated baseball conversation with a red sox fan. I always love speaking with them... they just can't win. Anyway in the middle of this conversation a cute little girl taps me on the shoulder and introduces herself. Naturally any guy would think this is a good thing. So I introduce myself and ask how she is doing... this girl looks me dead in the eye and tells me I need to find Jesus. I was very confused and had to order another drink almost immediately. Anyway I thought that was funny... you know the saying there is a time and place for everything... well i guess she didn't get that memo.

Sooooo sunday morning I get out of bed and make my way to the shower... before I can get to the bathroom, i experienced a very distinct "pop" in my lower back and my left leg went numb. The initial pain in undescribable, so i figured it was the right time to actually find out where the VA hosptal was near my new house. I found it and they took a couple of X-rays and gave me naproxyn. All in all I know my back is in a bad way and I should really consider surgery but I am not so sure I want my back cut open yet.

Oh well now I know where the hospital is.=)

have a great Monday.=)
