So, bush is gone and Obama is in.... I have to admit, there are many in this country that are way more excited than I am right now. Don't get me wrong, I will give this guy his day in court, but I have the sinking feeling that once the publicity of the first black president dies down, this country is screwed. I just keep feeling that over 70% of the country voted for the token black guy. Yes it is a monumentous event and I hope for the best. The guy is a great talker, but I am not so sure he is going to find it easy to implement many ofthe things he speaks about. Naturally nobody will be able to criticize him out of fear that they will be immediately labeled a racist. He wants to stimulate the economy by rebuilding the infrastructure. Good in theory but when you look at it, everything we are going to use to rebuild the roads, buildings, power grid, etc are probably going to be 80% imported. I say this because the fact is you can get materials much cheaper outside the US. This will not stimulate the economy. It will increase debt and American money leaving our shores. Yet everyone is all teary eyed because Obama is President. I am scared. I don't think people know what they voted for.
