2007-01-17 11:12 AM Analyzing Visual Arguments (in our Hallways) Read/Post Comments (75) |
Examine the senior class' posters and displays in the hallways. Choose one image or display to analyze as an argument. Write a paragraph in which you briefly describe the image or display and evaluate its effectiveness.
Focus on purpose, audience, and argument, and use the questions below to guide your analysis. However, your response should be in the form of a single, unified paragraph, not merely separate responses to each question below. *What is the purpose of the poster or display? How do you know? Is it successful in achieving the purpose? *What audience is it trying to reach? How do you know? Is it successful? *What is the argument conveyed by the image or display? How do you know? Do you think the image or display successfully conveys its intended message? Due Friday, Jan. 26, at 11:59pm Read/Post Comments (75) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
