Dogster

falling to pieces, just me and the dog

well, it's turned out to be another rainy day, but hey i can handle that. i love the rain.

my tooth is killing me. well, it's not much of a tooth really. just about a quarter of a tooth left in a big ole crater. it's been hurting for about two days now. course, i ain't got no insurance(ooo, hear the southern come out in me) so i'll just have to suffer through. hell i suffered through losing the other three quarters of it, plus losing have of another.

i've got a damn rash also. man, i'd like to think it's the winter months drying my skin. but usually those "rashes" only affect my legs and arms. this one's around my belly and just under the boobies, the two places fluffy women like me sweat the most. funny, i don't wear deodorant in the fall and winter, cuz i don't sweat under my arms. but i always manage to sweat those other two places. it's annoying as hell, and i find myself waking up in the middle of the night mid-scratch.

when i first met mark, he had a horrible rash. he was a desert storm veteran and he came back with this weird rash. the military denied he could have gotten it from there, but hell, years later we know that's not true, eh? you couldn't see it very well, it was whitish in color, and was odd shaped discolorations that looked like they were right underneath his skin. in the heat, it turned red and was easier to see. in a dead sleep, he'd scratch every night. used to kind of drive me batty. i guess i shouldn't have gotten so irritated, cuz look at me now, losing sleep because of my own itchy skin.

i'm a little bummed today. my pero-lobo, yasha dog is having petite mal seizures. they started yesterday. i'm no pharmacist or doctor, but it seems awfully strange to me that he didn't have any the whole three or four months he's taken the med, but when we get him this new batch just purchased last fri, he starts having them. when we inquired at the pharmacy, they informed us that it was indeed the same medicine, from the same manufacturer. i ask, "couldn't it be a bad batch?" to which she replied, "oh, they'd know that at the warehouse." well, how the hell would they know it there, unless their workers are dipping into the stores? one of the stupidest, "i ain't really got an answer for you" answers i've ever heard. and of course, the pharmacy would NEVER admit to it even if it were true.

but we'll find out. we have some leftovers from a previous month(long story) so we're gonna give them to him tomorrow and see if he goes through the day without having a seizure.

i sure love this dog and if anything happened to him, i'd be devastated...he's my little yashakins...the big sweetie!
