bits and pieces, odds and ends

well, it's been awhile. oh not really that long. but i want to see my month change...lol...

i have just two and a half more days of uninterruptions(geez, is that even a word...we tend to make our own up here in the south) before my lovely, sweet, gentle, annoying father-in-law comes home. i think we're all in agreeance(see, did it again) here that it's been a good week.

trying to figure out the new html editor and having fits. i'm sure i'll get the hang of it pretty soon once i figure out all the bells and whistles. but it's quite frustrating in the beginning. i wouldn't have near as hard a time if i understood tables...god why do they give me such fits?

i have a good idea for the ezine. i think it will be pretty cool...ssshhhh...keepin that a secret until i'm ready.

the rain has finally gone away, at least until tomorrow night. it's nice and sunny outside and is infecting my mood. i might just hog tie hubby when he comes home, throw him in the truck and take a short road trip. the urge to runaway has been strong lately. i sit cooped up in the house all the time. i don't much like the chilly weather, so i cloister myself away. i want sunshine, beautiful sunshine. and i want to drive somewhere i've never been before. believe it or not, there's a lot of places here. one day i'd like to make it to pilot mountain, the town that mayberry was based on. i'm sure it's quaint in that southern country-side sort of way. it's not too far from here, and everytime we go that direction, i keep saying i'm gonna visit someday.

i eeked out a flash and dash. returned to my pulpy characters. and now that the week has gone, i've thought of an idea for last week's prompt. might scratch that out soon too. still thinking over this week's prompt but so far no inspiration. i should just sit and write and now worry about what comes out. but i generally like to have some sort of loose idea before i go.

oh well, the birds are chirping and i swear they're calling my name. gonna run along for now and find something to do.

hey wake up! sorry i put you to sleep.

btw, saf, i know, great colors huh? steal away, my dear.
