fingers crossed

i found what i think will be a perfect gig for me on craigslist. something i had actual, tangible samples of to send them. of course, i don't have any real experience, but i'm hoping that my samples will speak for themselves. i don't really want to "go into details" as i don't want to jinx it. it was kind of an old ad, about three weeks old, but, fingers crossed, it will work out. i'm desperate.

i've replied to several things on craigslist, only heard back on one and he wanted a resume (which i really lack, especially for that position) but about 95% of my inquiries i never heard anything back. not even a "you suck, don't waste my time" i'm hoping this will be the charm.

i'm not digging what i'm doing now. it's too much time and work for not enough pay. i'm losing money. and the frustration level is through the roof.

i'm trying to work on my site. another frustration, because i've never done the css thing and i usually always had help with my html so until i can put it all together and see what graphics work and what don't...oye vey.

so....fingers crossed, fingers crossed, i need positive vibes...

staying positive!

ok, new pic...as ya'll can see...in the pier pic was a sailboat visible at the end of the pier...this shot was taken before visiting that pier, from the riverbank property line of the community i live in. you can see by the sailboats how close the property and public pier are (and close to ME) you can see how shallow the water is in the foreground. i literally could have waded out, no problem. i'm just thinking a hurricane in this area would have us all underwater (thankfully, there hasn't been one in this area for a hundred years or so...but, i'm thinking that means we're about due for one)

and fyi...these sailboats sat around this same area for nearly a week. today, they were gone. but as i drove to the bank (the main road, orange avenue/highway 17 pretty closely follows the banks of the river) i noticed on the st. john's, behind the elks lodge, these two sailboats were anchored.

must be nice to spend your time trying to decide what part of the river you'll live on for any given stretch of time, eh?

also, i've added the link to my associated content articles. as i can now make money off of the reads, please feel free to read them, if you like. when the site first started, they paid a flat rate for each article and i have to say, i did pretty well. but like everything else, they are now going to the "pay per click" method. but after two years, i still have people reading my medical articles especially.

every penny helps. lol...what can i say, i'm working towards an apartment that is walking distance to the beach.
