another day, another photo

well, i've decided to throw myself into my associated content articles. i think i've figured out how to get the most of the site.

i'm not, by nature (tho i should be because i'm a virgo) a list maker, but for this, i need some or-go-nay-she-own. right now i have roughly 18 topics in about 4 related groups.

after some time off (can we say two years?) i've decided to get back to it. i feel like i've been struggling with them but upon reading them recently, i realized i'm pretty decent at it.

i don't know why i'm so surprised...non-fiction has always kind of been my thang (i was the girl in school who loved to research). non-fiction writing is what i concentrated on in my liberal arts program.

and i've learned just enough (jack of all trades, master of none) about how seo works and the importance of linking that i might be able to make this a decent, albeit probably small, enterprise out of it.

we'll see, only time will tell, but at least it will, hopefully, keep my mind occupado and my physical being from self-destructive behaviors while helping me build a diverse portfolio.

the real trick is going to be, since you don't know what your articles' urls will be until posted, and then you're not allowed to do any editing once they are posted, is figuring out the best way optimize the linking.

it may take a little trial and error, but i'm a smart girl. i'm sure eventually i'll get the hang of it.

my other goal for myself is to start getting up before the heat of the day and walking. i used to walk all the time and i felt so much better physically. since i've been here i haven't done hardly any walking and i'm feeling it. stiff, legs hurting, and i'm starting to thicken around the middle, if ya know what i mean. plus, i'll just take the ole camera with me everyday and maybe i'll get some nice morning shots.

i've added my flickr link to the top, and i'm always adding new photos.

in the meantime, enjoy sparky, the most adorable little performing sea lion! what a cutie! i wanna a sea lion...pleeeease?

;-)
