the ignorance is this country is painfully palpable.

i just spent the last few hours with a girl who believes obama wants to take away her guns. that's her biggest gripe (besides taxes)

first of all, i don't think she even has any guns...second of all i don't remember that coming up ever...i told her to show me proof...of course she couldn't because she's just spouting shit she's heard from someone else.

when i argued her on taxes, i told her i'd show her the proof to which she changed the subject.

I can forgive her because she's young. She just doesn't know. only my son is younger than her and he seems to know.

the fact is, if we've had to accept bush as our president and have been made to feel bad for not doing so, then the losers have to accept obama as our president.

it isn't a one way street only when you choose it to be (hmmm, reminds me of my marriage.)

the things that brings this home the most for me is if Biden had a teen-aged pregnant daughter, the right would have crucified him for that fact...yet Palin is "brave" for supporting her pregnant daughter.

what if Biden's wife had belonged to a group who wanted to succeed from the union? OMG, imagine what nastiness would have been spread.

What if Biden was a rabid hunter, who drug mama wolves out of their dens only to kill them?

I mean, Kerry was a war hero and look what Rove did to him? He's never been quite the same since. They broke him.

kerry was more of a hero than mccain ever was. remember, when mccain gave into his captures and did videos for them, other prisoners did not. would not.

mccain took the easy road because self preservation was more important. not only that, but he used his status as an admiral's son to his advantage....others with him didn't have the luxury of "name sake" and even if that meant death they didn't make videos and betray their country for their own welfare.

my neighbor promises to come over tomorrow and rub in my face mccain's win.

i told her "bring it on"

i'll be the first to pray for this country if that happens. because if it does, america will cease to exist.
