for a few years cnn was my crank, a drug i couldn't live without...as i obsessed about the world around me. the things i couldn't control, i became more and more obsessed. i tried to stay away from world affairs and politics, in the end, even with no cable but instead the internet, i couldn't stay away.

Maybe age or maybe the internet in the age of information, i've found my views have shifted to the left (i think i was always to the left, i just didn't know it.)

so where am i going with this? my favorite liberal blog (although they do kind of sometimes skewer each side)

Most of the folks write for other publications and contribute free of charge. Of course AP content from other newspapers they do pay for. but celebrities like jaime lee curtis, queen noor of jordan, micheal moore, robert redford, alec baldwin, along with leading columnists, economists, politicians, etc...all weigh in.

I would never have know about this site if not for bill maher. yeah, sometimes he's a little too far left for me, but i like the size of his balls. i respect him.
