Puppy Dreams

LOL...she's having puppy dreams right now.

Hey, this is the best puppy. Not nearly the work Sergei and Yasha were. Thank goodness. The work was why I was hesitant to get a puppy.

She slept with me last night, all snuggled up to me. The crate seems indespensible at this point. I put her in it when I went to the store and oh my goodness, she made such a racket. I was only gone 10-15 mins and she was still crying when I got back.

She got her first bath yesterday in the kitchen sink (OMG, I can actually finally find my kitchen sink! Thank you, Sam, worth every dollar)

I took Z-Man to work and of course, Asche came with...but, as I often do, I had to go to the bathroom. We took her inside and Z's boss got a hold of her and refused to give her back to me. Then the lawn/go cart mechanic talked my ear off and it took me forever to get away from him. He has two chihuahuas he's trying to unload. We could have gotten them for free, but I had a chihuahua as a kid and I didn't want another one. (yes, my sis named him and his name was...wait for it, wait for it...Chico...can you believe she named a chihuahua Chico? The roofers left the gate open and he ran away, never to be seen again...stupid roofers)

Anyway, Asche needs her nails clipped...Uh, Sam? Tonight we're taking her and Diego to the beach. It's illegal to take dogs on the beach, so we figure if we go after dark, it will be ok. Sergei went to the beach when he visited and he loved it! Pretty good for a "don't like to get my feet wet" Husky. I have a feeling the ocean will freak her out. Hmmm, I don't think Curs are water dogs...Pits either, but Diego has Labrador in him so maybe he'll like the water.

Man, she's gonna be a very big lap dog...kind of like Yasha.

;-)
