when it rains, it pours

wow, the last few days, i've felt like i'm falling apart.

first, i have a toothache. those of you who know me know, at the same time two years ago, i had a similar toothache.

luckily, i have antibiotics from the last toothache (one didn't work, so i was given another, therefore, didn't use up the first) and a neighbor was willing to spare a few of his pain pills.

we'll see how long that can get me through until i'm forced to give up money to see a dentist. (btw, when hubby asked me what he could do for me...i asked him for two things...get z t-shirts since he worked in a t-shirt place and pay off my dentist bill...he didn't get z the t-shirts and when i reminded him of the dentist bill, he pitched a fit about why should he have to pay for it?...asshole...and you know you are)

and then...if that weren't enough (seriously, i thought Saturday i would have to go to the ER with the tooth, I was hurting so badly) last night i was trying to get to sleep. my hips and legs have been bothering me. i laid down and the burning sensations in my legs kept me from sleeping. my friend had given me a lidocaine patch. i slapped two on my hips and two on my calves (where the burning was the worst) long story short, one lidocaine patch "rubbed" off and that was the calf that then kept me awake, well that and...

the coppers, as in helicopers that flew over my complex last night for at least 20-30 minutes. my first thought was, they do that when they are about to launch something from nasa. (they often send copters to make sure the air space is clear)i thought maybe they were launching a Delta rocket.

however, i'm seeing lights sweep through my bedroom but not like cop lights in my parking lot. when i went out to check it out, nothing, just the copper noise in the distance.

i could hear voices from the parking lot, but then i heard other voices...different.

asche then had to go pee. so when i took her out, i could hear voices through a loud speaker/intercom type of thing.

THAT freaked me out. the copper sound was close too me, so close that asche didn't want to pee (she's easily distracted) i mean, what if it is someone trying to escape and they came across me and my puppy and we ended up hostages...ok, maybe i shouldn't watch so much crime tv stuff. but still...(equally funny 'cause i lived in charlotte and didn't really think of such things) girl has to be safe.

a shuttle is supposed to launch tonight around 1 a.m. (supposedly, the last.) because i've had such a terrible few nights with pain...not sure i'm gonna make this one. we'll see, my camera is not working right, and i may be out of battery juice, but we'll see.

and damn! k had tickets for it on the base.

Damn! Update: launch scrubbed until 1 am Wed morning. really? 1 am again? why?
