I Knew It!

See, at the beginning of Sept I invited the iceback to come down here to spend Z's 21st birthday with him. He said he'd think about it. Then, he eluded to the fact that he would more than likely come down here.

He hits me up on yahoo messanger and asks me a question that led me to answer "so you're not coming down?"

He assures me he is.

A few weeks ago, he tells z he doesn't know if he'll be able to come down or not. So I write him an email telling him I knew somehow he'd find a way to back out.

He calls me the next day accusing me of "barraging" him with shitty emails. When I looked through my email sent box, 3 shitty emails in 6 months. OMG! What a barrage!

So, Z comes home from work today and says that iceback's boss has be suspended from work. I ask, "so he might not come down?" and z says "yeah, I'm suppose to text him to find out"

Son of a bitch (I really hope you're reading this) probably isn't going to come down.

My kid is crushed by this.

At the very least, Z's friends from Orlando say they might come over and my bestest friend, K says he will go out with us so Z can have his rightly deserved first beer. Unfortunately, he wanted to have his first beer with his dad.

Still, it doesn't make up for his dad's constant promises that he never follows thru with.
