LB had his 2 year check up:

Ht. 33" (that's 2'9" for the math impaired) 20th percentile
Wt. 26 lb. 8 oz. 25th percentile
Head Circumference 70th percentile.

Still the giant headed baby!! I've always said, "big head = big brain, right?"

He's fine on all of the doctor's milestones except one:
stacks 5+ blocks (do jelly packets count?)
uses a spoon (sure to spoon HUGE amounts of applesauce in)
walks upstairs with help (stubby legs-but he manages)
makes 2 word phrases (try 4 or 5 word)
takes off his own shoes - um, nope, but then again, we tie his shoes on (his "lacy shoes") and haven't taught him to take them off, because we don't want him to take them off 5 minutes after we put them on, just so we can put them on again!!!

She says he's talking great and is much more willing to talk to her than almost any other 2 year old she's ever seen, except perhaps her own children. She said their word they tried to get their kids to say was Massachusetts, so we tried it on LB and he said it almost perfectly the first time, and now he says it lots.

We held off on his MMR shot until after the autism risk was passed. And when we discussed giving it to him this time, the doctor said that if he was autistic, she needed to go back to medical school. We've been saying for a while now that he shows NO signs of it.

And yes, I'm proud that my boy appears to be a smart one!!
