Bath time

Ever since he's been sick, LB does not like to take baths. More accurately he doesn't like to get into the bath tub. He was all excited to take his bath when we talked about it this afternoon and I said he'd take it after dinner, then once he was done with dinner he no longer wanted to take his bath.

He cried while I undressed him and until I put him into the tub. About 30 seconds later he decided it was OK and he was ready for bath time.

Then he cried when I took him out!! :)

While in the bath he had a grand old time, dumping water out of his bucket, making the bucket go "bloop" (the noise it makes when you let big bubbles out of it under water), swimming, and splashing. He discovered splashing again tonight-the bathroom floor may never be the same again!!

And then after his bath, he let me trim all 20 of his claws, with minimal squirming. It's amazing how much faster it's over when he just lies there and lets me do it. I think it helped that he had my cordless phone to play with ("want to make 3's, there are 3's. Want to make 2's, there are 2's..." as he pushes the number buttons on the phone which has a screen that shows the numbers entered)

He had a haircut about a week ago, and the shortness of it, actually makes it curl more so it kind of looks longer. In fact we saw someone last Thursday who commented that in the two weeks since we'd seen her last his hair had gotten much longer. Hee hee. But anyway, the wet hair really showed off the length difference, it was quite noticeable when it was wet.

OK, that was bathtime +, so time to go now.
