Tonight, LB opened the freezer before dinner and pointed to the frozen corn I'd bought a while ago, and said that he wanted some corn for dinner. So I nuked up one of the ears, and offered it to him. He looked at it, and then I showed him how to hold it and take a bite. He looked at me and asked me to take it off for him. I did, and he happily at a BUNCH of corn.

Silly boy, doesn't know what he's missing!!

Sometime at dinner I said something about being obnoxious, and he found that word very funny. I don't think it's a word he's heard much. After that, he kept saying noxious, instead of obnoxious. One day he'll know the difference between the two.

And he continues to learn. He now knows that words are made by putting letters together, and he mostly knows that sentences are made by putting words together. Today he said, "I don't want to make a sentence." and I dutifully informed him that he just had. Such things are lost on him for now, maybe soon.
