This evening, he put his teddy bear in our black plastic cauldron (Halloween leftover) & said that he was cooking up his teddy, but when asked, said that he did not intend to eat him. I started in on an explanation about why cooking up his teddy bear was perhaps not the best idea, thought the better of it, and stopped.

"Turn on the lights so I can see in the dark."

The current month has been dubbed, Notover. (combo of Nov. & Oct.)

The above led to a discussion that next month is December and that Chanukkah is in December, and does he remember what happens on Chanukkah. Well, he does, and floored me by NOT saying anything about presents, but instead saying that we light candles. Man can this kid remember-I'm SOOOOO screwed when he's a bit older.

"One hug at a time." He said to me when we were putting him to bed and I tried to hug him when he was trying to hug daddy.

And a final quote...

"Thank you for that kiss mommy."
