So although I am still feeling less pressure to Find A Man, and several days later I'm still feeling good about my decision to have kids in a couple years whether or not I have a honey, I am nonetheless all bummed out this evening about my romantic life or lack thereof.

I have been rejected several times on match.com. Today's rejection was "Thanks for saying hello. I am going to keep searching. Good luck." This was not the rudest rejection I've gotten (that one was "Thanks for your interest; it's very flattering. However, I'm not interested"), nor the nicest. But I'm just getting tired of the whole rejection thing. Most people actually don't respond at all. I've had one positive response to an email I've sent, and he has yet to respond to my attempts to confirm our coffee date for tomorrow. (My new dancing partner approached me first, and despite the fact that we have decided to just be friends and dance partners, I will be eternally grateful that he was interested to begin with).
