First time at a shooting range today, so I'll add that to my list 'o things I've now done. Not that I've never shot a gun (I've owned one since I was 16), but I've never gone to a range. I'm right-handed and left eyed (the right eye is atrophied and pretty useless at this point), so shooting a rifle was an interesting, nay, different experience. But I managed to hit things anyway. Yaay.

Goals for the week: outline Helsing story. Get comments done for at least 1/3 of JF's novel. Hopefully get first edit of "RM" done. Prod "B&S" a bit more, then kick it out. Give someone "ALiM" for comments. "Didn't grab me." I hate that. It makes me want to put some small, feisty critter in the envelope so that they're grabbed when they open the envelope. Currently Reading: "Darwin's Children" by Greg Bear, "Alice Adams" by Booth Tarkington, "Dracula" by Bram Stoker (ok, re-reading).

Recommend: "Coraline" by Neil Gaiman.
