There's got to be some magical line between the wussy character names I come up with (Ann, Alice, etc.) and those got-it-from-the-character-naming-book ones. You know the ones. Three syllables and counting, hey, let's buy a vowel, the kind of names the reader is going to fill in mentally with a string of garbage or just call him "Bob". Some day I'll get a grip on it; meanwhile, I think I've exhausted the letter "A" for girl's names. Ack. Argh. *sigh*

I'm also really bad at titles, but that's an entirely different rant.

I think I'll just concentrate on the ending to my newest story. I'll do a find-and-replace later. And no, baby name books aren't a help. Maybe there's a random name generator out there somewhere.
