Shameless plugging of a really cool store run by really cool people: you should visit The Lazy Lion. The First Annual Fright-Fest completely made up for the week's previous crappiness. Mike Jasper read a nice tongue-in-cheek story that will hopefully not be read by his mother-in-law, Drew Williams read an excellent story, and the esteemed Scott Nicholson arrived with much rejoicing. He wasn't wearing that hat, though.

We had a great time, won things, ogled books, etc. I won 3rd place in the flash-fiction contest. (signed copy of Night Terrors by Drew Williams and a poster signed by Williams, Jasper, and Nicholson) That probably makes me a bit biased. :)

Now I should probably do something constructive like getting all my stories back out there rather than cluttering up my study.

Currently Reading: Haven't gotten to anything, but it'll probably be Night Terrors.
