We finally let our green tree frogs go. They're currently stuck on the pavilion until they wander off to better locations. I just can't keep amphibians. I came home and one of the females was that day-glo green with black spots behind her eyes and I figured it was time. The last two we had died right after doing that and hanging out in the water bowl. Ah, well. They're so damn cute, though! And of course one of them huddled down on my fingers while I was trying to put her on a plant. Too cute.

The organization of this year's Trinoc*con is rather distressing. They claim that there is indeed a moderator for each panel, but the panelists can only find this out if they go somewhere and ask. Plus, since there is no guide to who is doing what panel, the panelists all consult the back of their tags and then find out their other panelists when they get to the room. The readings were most distressing because of their poor attendance. Richard Butner had 3 whole people at his reading and we were two of them. Jason Lundberg had 5. While this makes for some great conversations with the authors, there's just something missing. Oh, yeah, people. I don't know if they couldn't find it or it was too late in the evening or if they'd all gone to the bar or what.

I guess on the up side I have a really cool t-shirt.
