Apparently having parties for your pet is a bit of a local rage. I just don't think that'd work for me. Either there'd be an all-corn-snake party and folks would leave with the wrong snakes, or I'm afraid I'd have to get a king snake to bring along. One sleek, happy king snake. Yeah.

My car cd player has been broken for a while, so I hauled in all of my cd's. I didn't realize how much I'd missed listening to music (I listen to NPR on the radio, so I've been pretty music-less). I don't remember the last time I'd listened to my favorite song, even. I've thrown in some Mussorsky and I'm feeling perky already. Twirl, hut, twirl! OK, perky may equal silly...
