A rather fluffy post today...

We went to the big Asian market in the podunk town south of here, mainly because I turned on the bambi eyes ("b-b-but, it's New Year's next week and there'll be all this *neat stuff*"). So, I got cream Pocky, strawberry & chocolate decorer Pocky, plain Pocky, nifty sponge cake thingies with rum in, several colors of Ramune (including blue!), other melon soda, French tea cookies from China, Chinese honey, crab shumai, mango mochi (sp?), and a new year's assortment of confectioned peanuts. For whatever reason, when I was checking out they gave me a can of lychees in heavy syrup.

Yes, I *am* stocked up with munchies for several months. Especially Pocky!

I tried feeding my snake today, but the poor guy's still in the cloudy-eyed stage of shedding. He was really interested, just not coordinated. I'll try again in a few days. It's a good thing we don't have guests very often...
Unsuspecting guest: "I'll just get some ice from the freezer."
Hubby: "Did you feed your snake yet?"
Me: "No, he wasn't up to it..."
Hubby: "Where's the mouse?"
Me: "In the freezer...oh...sh*t..."
Unsuspecting guest: "What *is* this? Oh, dear god... aaaaaaaah!"
Me: *sigh* "Again?"
