Fun at the A&C

A&C I believe stands for Asia and China in this case. We go there to get fun things and try them out. Today's items for me: ginseng elixer, assorted jelly candy things, rice puffed whatsits with pineapple (I was going to get the cheese ones but got talked out of it, but next time I will, indeed, get the cheese ones. Dammit.), and some 3-in-1 cereal breakfast beverage. Nothing sucked, so huzzah!

Andreas prefers the jelly candies in the assortment, and I prefer the jellied cake things, but they're all good. Apparently there's some Ramune-associated candies that he got that are okay. The rice puffed whatsits soooo lend themselves to having cheese in them. Imagine, if you will, the perfect cheese puff. Firm, crispy, low salt, oozing with artery clogging goodness (not really, it just tastes that way). The pineapple was not a wise choice. One feels that it does not quite know what it is doing there. It lurks, knowing that it should be cheese and that it will soon be found out. As for the cereal breakfast beverage, once one whisks aside all existential angst regarding its form (is it a beverage? Is it cereal? Do I drink it or dig out a spoon?) it is *damn* good. No, really. I kid you not. Homer-Simpson-drooling good.

Informative, no? No. Well, fine. Remind me to tell you all about leeches and what happens to unventilated skulls in fires and so forth.
