For all you NC'ers...I've been thinking (and who hasn't?) about other options to get places. I've been browsing this site: http://www.bytrain.org/future/

Apparently, I could get a train from here to DC for $36/person, or to NYC for about $144/person. Yes, it's slower, but cheaper. I wish they'd expand within Raleigh and surrounding areas, and the proposed lines look cool. I would *love* to drive only a few miles, park, and get on a train to work. So much better than spending 30 min - 1 hour driving.
