Hmmm...who wants to reset my password?

Unless I hit a wrong key, of course. I just got an email notification from Journalscape saying that they received a request to reset my password. Hmmm.

In other random thoughts, I read Saturday's Child by Kathleen Norris and found it irritating. It was hailed as a great work in its time, even by Eleanor Roosevelt, according to the info online. Yes, it addresses the struggles of the working woman...somewhat. It addresses the problems with the worlds of the rich and poor...somewhat. The protagonist is incredibly self-absorbed, though, and rather thoughtless. Yes, she does do good things. She wants to be good. Good, good, good. Ye gods, grow a spine already.

The hardest part to take was the racism. She's good-good-good, but proud that her parents and grandparents owned slaves. Then there's the 'get the chinamen out of the factories' thing. Rather than getting them a union and rights as well, so they didn't undercut other workers as to pay, demand to get rid of them! Terrible pests. General intolerance for anyone not white. But she's sooooo goooood. I don't know why, but it rather irritates me. She's fighting...well, thinking about fighting...well, daydreaming about those who do the fighting, sometimes...for all this equality and better life, etc, but it's just so elitist. Did I mention spineless?

OK, illogical rant over. In other news, I had a dream last night that I met someone else who'd read the Kalevala. Sad, yes?
