So, why is it that, no matter what size the woman, the industry uses the same sleeve circumference?

Seriously. Why would you think that someone who wears a 3X has pipecleaners for arms? I try to get tops at least 2 sizes larger than the rest of my clothes, just to try to get my arms and shoulders into them. Then, of course, they fit like a tent over the rest of me (I'm not a 3x, mind you, but sheesh).

Can you tell I've been working out and that my suit tops are making it impossible for me to move? Argh!
