Don't know why I'm in holiday squee mode...we're broke, presents are on the "how creative CAN you get with $10" order, and people are generally crappy.

And yes, I hate Christmas. Not for the religious stuff, but for over a decade of memories as a child. I didn't care if there were presents. I dreaded the presents. More specifically, I dreaded opening the presents and hearing all the hateful, snarky commentary accompanying it. Oh, and the trip over to the in-law's where everyone could get all their nastiness out in the open. Well, well, I see the nasty white trash brat is still alive, isn't she? Didums have a good Christmas? She says yes! (seriously, the old b---- used to act like I was a dog and talk for me because I was too stupid). I see my son's still married to that whore. So nice!

Squidmas, however, I can get into. (Solstice or Cephalopodmas) It's just me and Andreas and whatever we get up to. No snarking. No relatives. And if I can only rustle up a little bit of stuff, there won't be drama over it. 'sides, I plan to cook up a ham (very small, a little ham goes a long way) and other stuff, like stuffing. :>
