Today was an amazing day...

I woke up to an email from my husband who came home today, much earlier than expected!! He made it home in time for daughters spring concert for band. The band played AMAZINGLY!!! I dont know why I am so shocked when I hear them play, because they are very talented, all of them!!

We came home from the concert to hang out around the house, hubby mowed the lawn and cleaned up the alley, it smells awesome, like peppermint!!

Daughters boyfriend came over and hung out for the rest of the day. This is really the first time he came and hung out with the family. He is a pretty awesome kid. I cooked up some cajun chicken w/ rice and veggies, and we all ate out on the porch, laughing and joking and just really enjoying each others company!

We then watched "A Fish Called Wanda" and laughed our fool heads off. Boyfriends name is Kenny, so the last scene where Otto says "h-h-here c-c-comes K-k-k-kenny to k-k-k-ill me" we all busted out laughing, including Kenny!!!!

It was really just an awesome day with the family, no worries about work/tenant/money, we just really kept it all in the moment :)

I am off to go snuggle with the hubby and watch southpark
