Welp, it never ceases to amaze me how crazy life can get.

I come home for lunch today, only to have the sherrif at our house waiting for me! UGH!

This is from last year when our former tenant (not to be confused with the current tenant) had stolen a bunch of merchandise from the utility company and left it in the apartment, when they moved, we discovered the stolen merchandise and called the state troopers, which started a whole side of insanity we didnt expect. Needless to say, after we discovered the merchandise (over $30,000 worth of tools and copper wiring from the utility company) the police informed us we could be charged with possession of stolen property being we are the homeowners. The only thing we had going in our favor is that we ourselves had contacted the state troopers and informed them of what we had found.

So here we are a year later, and I have been subopenaed to appear for their trail against our former tenant. I hope they do call me in cuz there is quite a bit I would like to say! HA!

Nice thing about this tho, is the fact that the state troopers also filed on our behalf for the former tenant to pay restitution to us for the removal of all the merchandise, in the tune of $400.00

It makes me laugh at how crazy life gets, just when we think its starting to slow down, something always has to bite us in the ass!

At least we are on the right side of the law!!!!!!!!
