Met with Deanne today to get an update on the showcase that we�re putting together with my scenes. She wants to have production up and running in January, 2005. We�re going to do a read-through of the scenes possible in early October. We�ve settled on the format; the scenes will be read forward and then backward, so �Mirror, Mirror� is still a potential showcase name. It will allow us to showcase three actors (and give those actors lots of stage time and emotional �meat� to shine), but also let Deanne set up a completely second cast if she wants to. It�ll allow her flexibility if an actor needs to back out for any reason, as well as add more shows if the opportunity arises.

This could be a very fun thing that grows a life of its own � at least, Deanne certainly thinks so. Right now, I�m just looking forward to the first table read to hear what real actors do with the parts!
