I have spent most of my day planning and organizing for my new career, but I now, happily, have some time to write. So, after completing this little journal diversion, I'll get back to my work-in-progress, which I've simply titled "Tracker" for now.

In the meantime, I'm compulsively checking my email for responses from _ChiZine_, _Aoife's Kiss_, and _Flytrap_, as all three are likely to let me know what they think of my submissions within the next few days.

I have offered myself the prize (and most 'zine editors will think I'm nuts for calling it a prize) of starting my own online speculative fiction magazine if my new career takes off. In essence, I'll do a lot of work to earn money to allow me to do even more work and watch the money bleed away. That's what an Ivy League education and law degree will do to a person's mind....

Well, I'm off to write.
