I've decided to waste postage again and submit to magazines by mail. I haven't done so in a couple of months for no particular reason.

After revising "Snared" again today, I decided to submit it to _The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction_. I expect the standard form rejection, but, if a miracle occurs, I might manage to catch the attention of the editors. So, I'll try and then plan my next submission in anticipation of the rejection.

On the writing end of things, I've toyed with "Finger" a bit this weekend, but I haven't made any real progress. Maybe I'll make some headway tonight.

I read online last night that Elizabeth Bear sold a three-novel science fiction not-series to Bantam/Spectra. That's wonderful. I look forward to reading the first book, _Hammered_, in 2005.

I decided to remove "Here There Be..." from my _Lone Star Stories_ mock-up, as it doesn't really fit in with the proposed Texas theme. So, I only have "Grasping for Immortality" linked.
