After receiving some thoughtful commentary from an _NFG_ editor, I revised "Snared" by changing the climax to give my protagonist more control over the resolution. I also retitled it, calling it "A Pause for Reflection." It's at _Abyss & Apex_ now. I'll be curious to see if I get any feedback on the story.

I've been thinking about my novel idea, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Right now the plot feels too derivative. More thought in combination with writing is called for here....
