I managed to complete all of the editing for the Lone Star Stories works today. I also changed my guidelines to include speculative and interstitial poetry with a Texas connection. Oh, and I also increased the payment for fiction to $5.00 (with poems getting $2.00). I plan on buying two or so stories, and two or so poems per issue. The only thing left to do for the February issue is to let the authors see previews of their work. I might tweak the background color of the web pages as well, but that's optional.

I finally received a response to one of my fiction submissions; it had been quite some time since I'd heard from anyone. It was a rejection, so I sent the story off to a new market this evening.

I didn't get any writing done today, as I spent the majority of the day with 'zine editing tasks. Maybe I'll write a bit tonight, maybe tomorrow....
